Systems Registration

In June 2006, following their independent audit of the adequacy of the Winbourne & Costas, Inc., Inc. quality system, Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc., granted Winbourne & Costas, Inc., Inc. "Registered Firm" status under the ISO 9001:2000 standard. Winbourne & Costas, Inc. became one of the first Washington, DC based Management Consulting firms to be registered under the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

What is ISO?  The ISO 9001:2000 standard defines the internationally accepted benchmark model for quality systems.  The standard places primary emphasis on customer focus and commitment to continuous improvement.  To retain registration status, Winbourne & Costas, Inc. must demonstrate continued quality system improvements and adherence to the standard. Reviews are performed through periodic surveillance audits.

What does ISO 9000 Registration mean to our Clients?  ISO 9001:2000 Registration implies that Winbourne & Costas' internal quality management procedures provide an approved framework that guides the quality of our services throughout our organization and to our clients.  The fact that our internal management procedures are open to audit by international standards is confirmation that our firm is working to provide world class quality services to our clients.
